About
Professor Young is an Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His research has focused on statistical physics, particularly in disordered systems such as spin glasses. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to understanding phase transitions in random systems and has employed numerical techniques like Monte Carlo simulations to explore these complex phenomena. As an educator, he taught an upper-division elective on Computational Physics, incorporating Mathematica as a core component of the course.
